What web application testing involves
Web applications face conditions that other software does not: users open multiple tabs, press the back button mid-transaction, leave sessions idle, paste formatted text into forms, upload unexpected files and view pages on screens from small phones to wide monitors. Each creates opportunities for defects that ordinary functional test scripts overlook.
Our web application testing combines functional verification with web-specific scenarios: session expiry and concurrent logins, double submissions, browser navigation, caching after deployments, responsive layouts, accessibility checks against WCAG 2.2 using axe and screen readers, and technical checks on meta tags, redirects and structured data for public pages. Testing uses production-like configuration wherever possible, including content delivery networks, caching rules and real email delivery, because many web defects only appear once these layers are involved, and a short smoke test is repeated after every deployment.
