What server management involves
Servers need steady care to stay secure and reliable. Operating system patches, security baselines, disk space, service accounts, scheduled tasks, log rotation and SSL certificates all need attention, and small oversights such as an expired certificate or full disk can stop business applications without warning.
We manage Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux and other distributions using automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Microsoft Configuration Manager or Azure Arc. Servers are hardened against CIS Benchmarks, patched on defined schedules and monitored for performance and security events.
Every server is documented with its role, owner, dependencies and recovery steps, so troubleshooting does not depend on one administrator's memory. Changes to production servers follow your change approval process, and every action is recorded in tickets that your team can review.
