What enterprise data integration involves
When the same customer exists with different addresses in the CRM, ERP and billing system, or a product has different descriptions in the warehouse and on the website, operations suffer: invoices go to wrong addresses, orders fail validation and reports disagree. Enterprise data integration keeps shared business data consistent between operational systems.
This work focuses on operational data flowing between business applications, rather than analytics pipelines into a warehouse. We define which system creates and owns each data element, build synchronisation with matching and survivorship rules, validate data such as GSTIN, PAN and pincodes at entry and report on data conflicts that need human decisions.
