What cloud strategy & consulting involves
A cloud strategy should answer practical questions: which applications move, which stay, which are retired or replaced by SaaS, what it will cost to run, and who will operate it. Without those answers, organisations often migrate everything as it is and find the monthly bill higher than the data centre it replaced.
We assess the application portfolio using the 6R model (rehost, replatform, refactor, repurchase, retain, retire), build a total cost of ownership comparison that includes licences, staff and exit costs, and define a cloud operating model covering governance, security, cost ownership and skills.

Ask a questionNo. Stable, always-on workloads can cost more in the cloud if they are simply rehosted. Savings usually come from rightsizing, autoscaling, managed services and retiring hardware refresh cycles, which the business case makes explicit.
For a portfolio of fifty to two hundred applications, discovery, analysis and roadmap typically take six to ten weeks.
We have no reseller targets that would bias the advice. Existing Microsoft licensing, in-house skills and specific managed services usually decide the choice more than headline prices do.
It is a fixed-price engagement once the number of applications, business units and sites is known. Implementation support that follows is quoted separately per migration wave.
