What private cloud solutions involves
Some workloads are better kept on dedicated infrastructure: steady high-utilisation systems where owned hardware is cheaper, data that regulations or contracts keep on premises, or plant systems that need low latency to local equipment. A private cloud gives those workloads self-service provisioning and automation instead of ticket-driven server requests.
Platform choice has become more important since changes to VMware licensing after its acquisition by Broadcom. We help organisations decide whether to renew, move to Nutanix, or adopt open platforms such as OpenStack or Proxmox VE, and plan the migration of virtual machines accordingly.

Ask a questionFor steady, predictable workloads running at high utilisation, owned infrastructure can cost less over five years. For variable workloads or those needing many managed services, public cloud is usually better.
Most virtual machines need a short outage during conversion. Critical systems can be rebuilt on the new platform and switched over, which keeps downtime to minutes.
We design and specify the hardware and can work with your preferred suppliers. Procurement remains with you, so there is no hardware margin in our recommendation.
Evaluation and design are fixed price. Build and migration are quoted per phase based on cluster size and the number of virtual machines to move.
