DevOps problems are rarely solved by buying another tool. Slow releases usually come from manual approvals, flaky tests, environment queues and handoffs between development and operations. Consulting starts by measuring where time is actually lost between a developer finishing work and users receiving it.
We baseline the four DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate and time to restore service), map the delivery value stream end to end, and recommend a sequence of changes to practices, team responsibilities and automation.
